A Beautiful Chicago Timelapse by Eric Hines
Being into films and photography I love it when I come across an artist that has the ability to show the beauty of something and I'll admit especially in film. I came across this video Cityscape Chicago made by Eric Hines.
Taken from his website:
"Eric Hines is a Photographer/Timelapse Cinematographer based out of Northwest Indiana. He was one of the winners of the 2012 International Earth and Sky Photo Contest and his work has been featured on places like the Huffington Post and National Geographic."
There are other Chicago cityscape videos that you will find if you search but Hines video really stuck out to me and I thought what better day than Martin Luther King Jr.'s Day but to show how beautiful a city we live in and how far we've come over the years. There's a beauty to this city that is diverse in every way imaginable; food, art, music, people and the list goes on.
Enjoy this wonderful work by Mr. Hines and though he's not a local he's a midwesterner and obviously someone who sees the beauty of our city. Be sure to check out his website to see more of his timelapse cinematography and his portfolio and be sure to check out more of The Local Tourist to keep up to date with what Chicago has to offer.
