Photo Exhibit BACKSTORY - Wabash Arts Corridor Crawl! at MoCP September 18th 2013
I thought this was really awesome when I saw it. It’s the Wabash Arts Corridor Crawl! The Museum of Contemporary Photography (MoCP) is opening itself to the students of Columbia College Chicago as well as the faculty and staff but also you the public.
MoCP is inviting us to come join them for a special reception for their current exhibition on display. It is the work of artist LaToya Ruby Frasier, Guillaume Simoneau and Ron Jude who have taken their lives through family and community along with history and have decided to intertwine not only the personal but the political, social and cultural relationship that represents them and called the exhibit Backstory. The exhibit has been running since July 16th and will continue until October 6, 2013.
Wabash Arts Corridor Crawl: Backstory’s reception is taking place on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at the Museum of Contemporary Photography on Michigan Avenue at 5:00pm. Let’s give these students some good old Chicago support. You’ll not only get to see Backstory and its beautiful photos but the artist as well.
You can connect with MoCP on Twitter (@MoCP_Chicago) and Facebook as well as Columbia College Photography and on CCP on Twitter (@columPHOTO)
