Following Harley-Davidson’s epic 110th Anniversary in 2013, the Milwaukee Rally is a perfect opportunity for a road trip up to Milwaukee. This weekend is full of street parties, classic rock, and chrome as far as the eye can see.
The festivities kick-off Thursday night with Bike Night concerts at the Harley-Davidson Museum and the Motor Company’s first public showing of the new 2015 models.
The free street parties on Friday and Saturday evening are a great opportunity to park your bike for the night, grab a beer, and enjoy a relaxed night in downtown Milwaukee.
Five Harley-Davidson dealers - Milwaukee Harley-Davidson, Hal's Harley-Davidson, House of Harley-Davidson, Suburban Motors, and Wisconsin Harley-Davidson - are participating in the rally with activities running through Monday.
Most motorcycle rallies include bike shows, tattoo contests, and bikini bike washes. But if you’re looking for an edgier experience, Milwaukee Harley-Davidson is offering more adult activities such as mudwrestling, free tattoos, a wet t-shirt contest, a burnout pit, and body painted models.
A new edition to this year’s rally is pop-up moonshine holler from Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine at the H-D Museum.
Before you call this just another event booth, Ole Smoky recently became the official moonshine of Harley-Davidson. The partnership includes launch of Harley-Davidson Road House Custom, Charred Ole Smoky Moonshine.
If you’ve never had a mason jar full of Tennessee moonshine, this is a chance to try a “Smoke and Coke” and other cocktails crafted with Charred Moonshine.
All official Milwaukee Rally events are free. Admission to the H-D Museum and some dealer activities require a ticket.
Remember to drink responsibly, have fun, and keep the shiny side up.
