13th Annual Windy City Wine Festival to Start Tonight

Chicago’s premier wine event, Windy City Wine Festival, returns to the Buckingham Fountain for its 13th consecutive year, Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9, 2017. The festival, presented by U.S. Bank, will feature more than 300 wines from around the world, local cuisine, live musical entertainment and more. Ticket proceeds for this prominent Chicago event will benefit the Grant Park Conservancy.

The two-day event gives attendees the opportunity to expand their knowledge of wine culture by tastings, sommelier-led seminars, pairing tips, and more. Tickets include several options:

The Cadillac Connoisseurs Club Ticket is $140 at the door. This ticket is good to use for any one day of the festival. It includes a souvenir wine glass, 20 tastings, access to the Cadillac Connoisseurs Club tent, which includes unlimited sampling of exclusive wines, hors d’oeuvres and gourmet small plate foods, seminars, musical entertainment, and the opportunity to purchase wine at a discount through Vin Chicago.

The Adult Wine Tasting Ticket (Friday, Saturday option) is $50 at the door. This ticket specifies Friday or Saturday entry, includes a souvenir wine glass, 20 tastings, seminars, musical entertainment and the opportunity to purchase wine at a discount through Vin Chicago.

The Designated Driver Ticket, presented by Cadillac, is $15 at the door. This ticket includes two non-alcoholic drinks, seminars, and a souvenir wine glass upon departure. 

Under 21 admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult.
