Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare haunted house opens tomorrow and I got a sneak peek into his eerily awesome attractions. Check out my photo gallery HERE (contains graphic images).

This ultimate Halloween horror event invades Chicago land on select nights from September 25 to November 1 at Odeum Expo in Villa Park, Illinois.

Next Friday, October 2 and Sunday, October 4, Great American Nightmare will host two exclusive concerts with the musician and filmmaker himself, Rob Zombie.  In between his shows on Saturday, October 3, another concert will take place featuring Insane Clown Posse, P.O.D., Stitches, Dope D.O.D. and Young Wicked.

This fully immersive haunted house experience at Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare features three attractions based on Zombie’s own horror films and characters: Captain Spaulding’s Clown School in 3D , The Devil’s Rejects and 31.

This year, the Bloody Boulevard includes carnival rides, freak shows, musical entertainment, roaming characters, themed food and beverages, games and vendors.  Please note there will be no rides on concert nights.  Opening weekend, unlimited carnival rides are included with your admission.

Tickets for Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare are on sale now at www.GreatAmericanNightmare.com, with prices starting at $25 for most nights. A limited number of VIP packages are also available for purchase. All VIP packages include a commemorative t-shirt and quicker access to the haunted attractions than general admission.

Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare is a creative collaboration between master of the macabre Rob Zombie and preeminent haunted house producer Steve Kopelman.  The event is produced by Rob Zombie, Steve Kopelman and Andy Gould.

This production is incredibly extensive as it has 140 characters and staff members, contains 21 semi trucks full of props and scenery to create all of Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare attractions.  In fact, Zombie and Kopelman began work on this year’s event back in February.

Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare will celebrate the Halloween season on the following dates:

September: 25-26
October: 2-4, 9-11, 15-18, 22-25, 29-31
November: 1
Hours for Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare will be 7:00 PM until midnight (Fridays and Saturdays) and 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM (Thursdays and Sundays).
