Akira's Spring Fashions are “Lyric”al

This summer Akira will be celebrating its 10th anniversary, so it’s only fitting that their Spring Fashion Show was filled with glamour. For one night the main hall of the Civic Opera House, home of Lyric Opera, was turned into the Akira Valley of the Castles. Diamond Nexus showcased some of their jewels, including the Miss Universe crown, and Miss Teen USA and Miss Illinois greeted attendees and then introduced the show. There was even a surprise performance by The Voice contestant (and Chicagoan!) Erin Martin.
