Annual Tequila and Sangria Festival Scores Another Hit

Chicago’s Players Sports and Social Group hosted their annual Tequila and Sangria Festival this past Saturday, at SPiN Chicago in the River North Neighborhood. There were two times available and over 1,000 people attended to get their taste of several tequila and sangria brands along with cupcake samples from IntoxiCakes. Among brands represented were Spice Note tequila, Crafthouse, Mija Sangria, Lolailo Sangria, G4 Tequila, Press seltzer, and Somrus cream liqueur.  Lines were long but moved quickly and there was a wide variety to select from.  The location had ample room to wander, sample, stop by the photo booth, or grab some snacks available from SPiN. A DJ kept the atmosphere pumping with Latin beats.

Players Sports and Social Group has been around since 1992 and features leagues in Basketball, Bags, Bowling, Beach & Indoor Volleyball, Dodgeball, Flag Football, Kickball, Indoor & Outdoor Soccer and Softball. If that isn’t enough, they host several tournaments around the city from Volleyball to Cornhole as well as social events which take advantage of the beautiful Chicago summers. Upcoming events include volleyball tournaments, beach parties, a rum fest, and a whiskey, wine, and spirits beach festival.
