April Ends Sweetly with Around-the-World Truffles Preview Party

Katherine Duncan has a thing about creating new truffle flavors. Not content to offer just your standard Champagne, chocolate, pecan, cheesecake, etc., the “confectionista” creates 175 flavors each year. Her upcoming May collection may be one of the most ambitious yet, featuring flavors from around the world.

You can get a taste of what’s to come at tonight’s preview party. Katherine Anne Confections is hosting a sampling of truffles, caramels, and marshmallows inspired by international cuisine. The flavors of Thailand are represented in the Kaffir lime, ginger, and tamarind truffle. India is alluded to with the carrot, walnut, and tarragon caramel.

Tickets to the preview party are $30 and include drinks and savory bites as well as the following decadent sweets:

  • Kaffir Lime + Ginger + Tamarind: bittersweet chocolate, kaffir lime leaves, fresh ginger, tamarind
