Local music is coming back to The Local Tourist in a BIG way.
Chicago bands can now add their songs and send their fans to vote for them! The song with the most votes will be featured the following week on TLT’s home page.
Are you a local band? Then this is what you need to do:
- Register and request a Band account http://thelocaltourist.com/user/register
- Upload song(s) to be considered with this form http://www.thelocaltourist.com/node/add/bands-music-featured
- To add music to a band profile without including it on the voting page, use this form http://www.thelocaltourist.com/node/add/bands-music
Band profile pages have also been updated so that songs & shows will be on the profiles. There can even be videos! (http://www.thelocaltourist.com/node/add/bands-videos)
And this is for everyone: if you have a Twitter account you can enter it and your tweets will show up in your profile, too!
Once your song is posted, send your fans to http://www.thelocaltourist.com/bands/music/voting
The first featured band will be posted next Monday, February 1, so bands, submit your music; fans, go vote!
