Celebrate National Sushi Day with $5 Sushi Rolls

You have to love National “Insert Food Item Here” Days. Local restaurants jump on the celebration train and we get to ride in the engine! Wow – that’s a bad analogy. What I’m trying to say is these restaurants come up with something special to celebrate, usually in the form of special or discounted menu items. For example, Friday, November 1, is National Sushi Day, so Jellyfish is offering $5 signature rolls all day long. Regularly priced at $13 to $18, your maki choices include the El Sol, made with spicy tuna, spicy shrimp, avocado, cilantro, jalapeno, creamy uzu, and red tobiko. You could also get the Big Chicago Roll. No deep dish or Vienna Beef in this one; it’s filled with tuna, salmon, white tuna, BBQ eel, shrimp, avocado, and pickled cucumbers.

Jellyfish is located at 1009 N. Rush Stret on the second floor and is open on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.
