Cheap Date Alert: $25 Restaurant Certificates for $2

Starting at Midnight tonight and running through Noon on Wednesday, you can get $25 certificates to several Chicago restaurants for only $2. TWO DOLLARS. That’s less than a latte and cheaper than a tchotchke.

There are, course, some restrictions. For example, India House and Chicago Firehouse require a $50 minimum purchase for dinner Sunday through Thursday. Great Street is for dinner only, and Silver Spoon is valid for dinner or takeout with a minimum purchase of $35.

Still, $25 certificate for 2 bucks? I’d say it’s worth it.
