Chef's Table Gets Out Of Town

I’ve been asked for awhile now when I’m going to bring Chef’s Table to the suburbs. “There are great restaurants outside of Chicago”, I would hear. Yes, there are.

Salsa 17 is one of them, so that’s where our first suburban edition of the popular dining series will be held! On September 14 an intimate group will get a taste of Mexico from a third generation chef. Chef Jose Luna learned from his mother and grandmother how to prepare menus using the freshest ingredients while growing up in Jalisco, Mexico. He went on to attend the American Culinary Federation and now has 30 years of experience under his belt. He’s been a featured speaker at the National Restaurant Association’s Chef Stage and took a gold medal in Seaul, Korea, with the Vision USA culinary team and he travels and competes from Ireland to Japan.

Please join us as we explore the cuisine of Mexico prepared by a chef who’s seen the world!
