Chef's Table Visits The President's Neighborhood

One of the best things about Chef’s Table is that each one is different as we see how each restaurateur chooses to highlight their areas of expertise.

Park 52I’m particularly excited about March’s event. Park 52 is a gorgeous, striking, and spacious restaurant. It was designed by Jerry Kleiner, whose signature touch created the bold interiors of Opera, Carnivale and Room 21. Now Chef/Sommelier Alain Njike is at the helm. The son of a restaurateur, he learned in France and has honed his Chicago chops at Trotters and NoMi.

Because he’s both a Chef and a Certified Sommelier, he’ll be showcasing both on March 18th. The evening will begin with a reception, then we’ll move to Park 52’s actual Chef’s Table, with the open kitchen on one side and a wall of wine on another, for a wine tasting of South African selections. For those who choose to stay after the event, Chef Alain will be recommending some of his favorite entree items, and there will also be live jazz!

This sounds like a fantastic evening and we’re selling out fast, so be sure to register right away!
