The second annual Aquatic Experience splashed into town at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center this weekend. The event ran from Friday, November 7 through Sunday, November 9 and containted everything aquatic under one roof.
There were over 130 tanks of tropical fish on display. I even found Nemo.
The only touring Live Shark Encounter in the country held several shows every day where spectators could listen, learn and observe as their shark experts swam and interacted with these mysterious and many times misunderstood selachian fish of the deep.
Other activities included appearances from Nat Geo WILD’s Pond Stars, an educational “Fish Around the World” exhibit, aquatic competitions, seminars, kids’ aquarium contest and more!
