Hey all you geeky girls out there – and I know there are a lot of you, judging by the response to “It’s Chic To Be Geek” – there’s another event this Thursday. The monthly Chicago Geek Girls Dinner is not only hosted by Roundarch, but the women from this web design company will be talking about their expertise: user interaction. I’ll also be there to chat about The Local Tourist’s recent site redesign. This overhaul was all about making the site as easy to use as possible. You’ll get to hear all about the challenges (or what not to do!) as well as the incredible successes, including how I tripled page views in two months.
