Chicago Symphony Orchestra Returns After European Tour
For the last couple of weeks the Chicago Symphony Orchestra has not only been world-renowned, it’s been traveling the world. From October 20 through November 2 the musicians shared their talents in Warsaw, Luxembourg, Geneva, Paris, and Vienna. Now they’re back and ready to amaze and delight Chicago audiences.
The season opens this Friday with one of the most recognized and well-loved symphonies, Dvorák’s New World. The concert will begin with Brahms’ Hungarian Dances, followed by Bruch’s Violin Concerto no. 1 in G Minor, before Conductor Cristian Macelaru leads them into the new world.
