For the first time Chicago is having a New Year’s Eve party and you’re invited. Chi-Town Rising will take over Upper Wacker Drive with a celebration that’ll be broadcast live. The headliner is, appropriately, the legendary GRAMMY® Award winning rock band Chicago. They’ll be joined by 2014 Billboard Top New Artist American Authors.
The music begins at 8pm on December 31 culminating with a performance by Chicago as a 70-foot Chicago star rises 360 feet into the sky and fireworks explode off of Navy Pier in the background. More acts and entertainment will be announced in the coming weeks, but this is shaping up to be one epic party.
