Chicago Veterans Day Discounts and Events

November 11 is Veterans Day and businesses all over the Chicago area are offering special discounts and offers for veterans of all branches of the American military. Restaurants will provide free or discounted meals, and theaters and attractions offer free admission. These special offers are valid with proof of military service.

Chicago Veterans Day Discounts and Events

Brookfield Zoo 8400 31st Street, Brookfield, IL: Free admission for all (parking fees still apply). Ceremony honoring veterans from 11am to 2pm. 

Cantina Laredo 505 N State St, Chicago, IL: Complimentary entree during lunch or dinner (priced up to $20).

Classic Cinemas: All veterans and active service members get in free to one movie at any Classic Cinemas. Find movies at Classic Cinemas

Grand Trunk: The Chicago-based online outdoors company offers a 30% discount to veterans every day.

Hakka Bakka 1251 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago, IL: Buy-one-get-one FREE Kati Roll, Rice Bowl or Salad Bowl with proof of U.S military I.D.

III Forks 180 N Field Blvd, Chicago, IL: Complimentary entree for all veterans and active military (up to $40).

MAK 1924 W Division St, Chicago, IL: MAK will offer veterans 50-percent off all orders. This includes active, former or retired military and is for dine-in only (one per veteran/active military personnel, per order, per visit, per ID).

Marcus Cinemas: All veterans and active duty military receive a free complimentary-size popcorn on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11. Redeem offer by identifying at the concession stand. Find movies at Marcus Cinemas

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille 5 Oakbrook Center, Oak Brook, IL: Available November 12. Free for U.S. active and former military accompanied by at least one paying guest ordering a dinner entree. Reservations and military ID are required to receive this special offer.

Safehouse Chicago 60 E Ontario, Chicago, IL: Safehouse is offering veterans 50% off their entire order on November 11.

Timothy O’Toole’s Pub 622 N. Fairbanks Court Chicago, IL; 5572 Grand Avenue Gurnee, IL; 412 N. Milwaukee Avenue Libertyville, IL: The three family-owned, Chicagoland locations will buy lunch or dinner for those that have served in the armed forces. ​The complimentary value is $12.

Tuscany on Taylor Street 1014 W Taylor St, Chicago, IL: FREE lunch or dinner entree (up to $40 value). The offer is available for dine-in only to active military and veterans with proof of I.D. Reservations are recommended. 

Weber Grill 539 N State St, Chicago, IL: All veterans and active duty members who visit Weber Grill Restaurant in Chicago’s River North will receive $25 towards their meal of $50 or more. Dine-in only. Must mention offer.
