Chicago's Green Festival

Last Saturday my friend Elizabeth and I went to the Green Festival. We wanted to be environmentally conscious so we walked from Lincoln Park, cut through the zoo, and headed down the lake front path to Navy Pier. OK, really the bus was taking forever and it was a gorgeous day. Shortly after we got there we met up with my fellow NBC5 Street Teamers Reggie Brown and Megan Bowers and head Street Teamer Marcus Riley and tagged along while they interviewed. At one point we saw a woman being “cupped”, an Eastern healing technique. I walked away for all of about five minutes to take some pictures of the children’s area and by the time I came back Elizabeth had convinced Marcus to try the technique.
