Chicago Restaurant Week may be a distant memory, but you don’t have to wait until next year to get your prix fixe fix. Chicago Chef Week began yesterday and runs through Friday, April 22. This year features more than 70 chef-driven restaurants, including newcomers and old standbys.
The roster of restaurants is impressive and includes participants from all over the city, including TLT favorites GT Fish & Oyster, Bottlefork, Tanta, Duck Inn, Quartino Ristorante + Wine Bar, and Carnivale. As is to be expected, River North and the West Loop’s Restaurant Row are heavily represented, but there are also some from the south side and the suburbs.
The three course menus are $22 for lunch and $44 for dinner. You can see the entire list and make reservations on the Chicago Chef Week website.
