Dining To Impress 101

If you want to impress your date or your business partners or pretty much anyone, take them to Trump Tower. If you want to knock their ever-lovin’ socks off, pay attention:

Sixteen has received accolades since it opened last year. The Terrace At Trump immediately became a see and be seen spot with its spectacular view and impressive wine list. Now they’re offering dinner from Sixteen on the Terrace, complete with a private server and attention from Sommelier Rachael Lowe. They’re also giving a present to those who dine and are offering a special menu themed around Australian Black Truffles, which are only available at these special tables. Did I mention there are only two?

These tables can be filled with as many as six people or as few as two. Price varies based on the number of people dining. Just two? That’ll be $1400 please. Six of you? $1900. You’ll be dining on Bernardaud china and sipping from Spiegelau stemware.

Each one is customized, but a sample menu could include:

Green garlic puff with escargot and truffle butter
Bollinger “Spécial Cuvée” Brut NV

Hot truffle jelly and butternut squash soup with truffle flan, parsley puree, fiddleheads and morels
Riesling Kabinett Markus Molitor “Zeltinger Sonnenuhr” Mosel 2007

Australian rock lobster with local corn and truffle vinaigrette
Littorai “Mays” Sonoma Coast 2006

Truffle stuffed squab with cherry infused Israeli couscous, cheese pastilla, veal loin, crispy truffle potato, and rhubarb/turnip ragout
Bourgogne Maison Leroy 2003

Humboldt fog truffle cheesecake with blackberries, candied pistachios, truffle panna cotta, caramelized parsnip and olive oil ice cream
