About the East View Park Chamber Players:
Chloe Lindeman grew up in North Carolina. She did her undergraduate work at Haverford College in Pennsylvania studying physics and music. Now a third year PhD student in physics at UChicago, she also plays with the University Symphony Orchestra, where she is the section leader of the Second Violins, and also with several chamber music groups.
Aaron Mowitz is in his last year as a PhD student, also in Physics at the University of Chicago. He grew up in Princeton, NJ, and has been playing violin for over twenty, and viola for fifteen years. After he finishes his PhD, he hopes to teach physics at the college or high school level. He is currently playing in several chamber music groups on campus.
Walter Farber was born in Germany, where he also learned to play the cello and got his academic degrees. He joined the faculty of the University of Chicago at the Oriental Institute in 1980, and has been playing in the University Symphony Orchestra ever since. After retiring in 2013, he found even more time to indulge in his beloved chamber music. For this, he came up with the idea of a loosely organized group of chamber music enthusiasts who usually meet at his home, calling themselves the “East View Park Chamber Players.”
