These 3 courses will enable you and your colleagues in fundraising, finance/administration, and program, to understand the parts of the proposal; each team member’s role in creating it; and how to collaborate to secure grants. In the 203 workshop, your team’s proposal draft will be reviewed by a grantmaker. Note: the 203 course is on 4/4/13.

Proposal Writing 201: Planning the Project
February 21, 2013, 9 am - 12 pm
This course takes you from concept to project plan, with the goal of obtaining funding.
Proposal Writing 202: Project Budgets
February 21, 2013, 1 - 4 pm
This course emphasizes how to gain a budget that supports your project plan.
Proposal Writing 203: Reviewing Your Proposal
April 4, 2013, 1 pm - 4 pm
Finally, you'll review a proposal that your team drafted from the previous two courses. You’ll also have the opportunity discuss your proposal draft with your instructor, peers, and foundation program officers.
