You’re invited to join us for an exclusive rooftop tasting with Chef Cleetus Friedman and North Shore Distillery.
We’ll be featuring an array of delectable hors d’oeuvres made with ingredients from the farmers market. As the owner of City Provisions, Chef Cleetus is renowned for his sustainable practices, his locally sourced cuisine, and his passion for good food done well. He’s also quite the entertaining character and you’ll have one-on-one time with this creative innovator.
His cuisine will be paired with cocktails from North Shore Distillery. They’re an award-winning small batch distillery located on the North Shore of Chicago (where else!). And when they say small, they mean SMALL. There are two of them, plus a part time employee, plus their still, Ethel. Yet somehow they manage to create amazing gin, vodka, aquavit, and even absinthe. Chef Cleetus has promised that we’ll see his cleetus heatus aquavit bloody mary and we’ll definitely be trying their new vodka, Sol.
All of this will be served in a gorgeous setting. We’re going to be in the rooftop garden of Chicago Specialty Gardens! Creating beautiful landscapes in elevated urban spaces is their job, so you can imagine that their personal space is beautiful. If it does happen to rain we’ll bring the event indoors.
The event is July 25 and space is extremely limited. RSVP is required.
