Green Bean Hosts Gluten-Free Chef's Table June 27

Gluten is a real issue for thousands of people. Whether it’s full-blown celiac disease or a less severe sensitivity, avoiding gluten is important to many. Fortunately, more and more restaurants are providing gluten-free options so that non-wheat-eaters can enjoy dining out just like everyone else.

That’s why I’m happy to announce our very first gluten-free Chef’s Table event. On June 27th Chicago’s healthy fast casual concept Green Bean Restaurant will host a completely gluten-free multi-course dinner, complete with wines and gluten-free beers.

This new concept is a healthy alternative to your typical fast casual options. Green Bean, 734 W Fullerton Ave, is chef-driven and offers a healthy menu of locally sourced cuisine that is entirely gluten-free! Opened in 2015, Green Bean is redefining fast food with meals that are physician-approved, non-GMO and gluten-free at affordable, accessible prices. Executive Chef Mike Watson has teamed with co-founders Aaron Bush, who has a background in both the medical field and food service, and respected Dr. Srinivas Ravanam, M.D., M.P.H., to bring an elite pedigree to the healthy transformation of fast, fairly-priced food.

Our Chef’s Table with Green Bean highlights some of their delicious items. Here’s what we’ll be enjoying:
