Helping People is serious business for The Second City

This last week The Second City proved that it is much more than the premiere improv theater in the country. The company raised almost $30,000 for the Red Cross’ Haitian relief fund through the combined efforts of their Chicago, Hollywood and Toronto locations. Second City matched any funds raised, and since the Canadian government also matches the grand total came to $28,197. What’s happening in Haiti is no laughing matter and kudos to everyone who participated in this serious effort.
