Six Flags Great America just announced plans for their fifteenth roller coaster, and this one is no joke. The Joker will be the world’s first free-fly coaster: riders will flip head over heels after soaring up twelve stories at a 90-degree angle. 

The coaster will open next year, using magnetic technology to give you that weightless feeling. On the heels of this announcement (maybe we should leave the jokes – or jokers – to the professionals) the theme park is offering a flash sale of their season passes. From now through Monday, September 5, you can get up to 70% off annual passes. If you buy this weekend not only will you save money on the regular pass, you’ll get:

• Free upgrade to a Gold Season Pass with every Pass purchased
