Kidzapalooza Rocks For Parents And Children At Lollapalooza

The countdown is on until Lollapalooza July 31-August 2 in Grant Park.  This has been an unusually cool summer, let’s hope that trend continues during that particular weekend.  Even if it’s hot, there’s one stage that will always keep you cool: Kidzapalooza.  It’s by far my favorite stage on the Lolla grounds.  Tons of trees provide shade for concert goers, there’s always fun activities and frankly usually has the best artists.  Often, by surprise.  If you are a parent who likes to rock bring your kids in on the fun, because it won’t cost you a thing.  Children 10 and under get in to Lollapalooza free.

The Kidzapalooza stage (presented by Lifeway Kefir) is practically it’s own festival.  This year there will be a drum zone, hip hop workshop, dome of dance, tattooz (don’t worry, they are temporary), funky hairdooz, rockstar video karaoke, kidza chef world with Graham Elliot and more.  Click HERE.  If you forget to bring ear plugs, they have you covered with awesome Lolla headphones for sale along with other kids merchandise.

Lollapalooza is massive festival so if you do bring your kids, make sure you utilize the tag-a-kid service located at the Kidzapalooza stage.  Once you register your child(ren) you will get a wrist band so if your child gets lost it’s a safe way to reunite them with their parent.  It’s also a great meeting spot.  There’s even a private area to change diapers and nurse.  Clearly, Lollapalooza is very family friendly thanks to the Kidzapalooza area.  No reason to stop rocking when you become a parent!
