A precocious toddler… A lost beloved bunny… A superhero Dad… A singing Mom… And dancing laundry supplies. What could go wrong? Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical is back at Emerald City Theatre, and it is great fun for ALL ages!
Based on award winning children’s book Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale by Mo Willems, this comedic musical adaptation takes kids and grown ups alike on the hunt for the beloved stuffed rabbit left behind at the laundromat. A desperate Dad, a merry Mom and toddler Trixie learn the power of communicating, even when there are no words. The stage design is inspired by the book’s original illustrations. Knuffle Bunny truthfully explores the triumphs & challenges of parenthood, the love within a close-knit family, and our need for communication with our loved ones. It is the humor that is called upon to help us through it all. This musical adaptation, filled with puppetry, comedy, and heart, has all the right ingredients of great family entertainment.
