Latinicity Brings Latin Wonderland to Chicago's Loop

If you’ve ever walked through Eataly and thought “I wish there were somethig like this for Latin cuisine,” your dreams have been answered. Latinicity opens in downtown Chicago on November 5.

Inspired by the massive Italian concept, Chef Richard Sandoval has created a Latin food hall showcasing cuisine from both Central and South American countries. With twelve kitchens and two restaurants the 20,000 square foot eatary will provide all the south-of-the-border flavors your heart desires. There’s even a collaboration with Chef Jose Garces, of Iron Chef, Mercat a la Planxa and Rural Society fame.

Latinicity, located on the third floor of Block 37, will open at 11am.

“I want to recreate the Latin spirit of togetherness I felt as a child when I joined my grandmother in the kitchen and gathered around her large table with family to enjoy lively feasts prepared from scratch. She taught me to respect fresh, authentic ingredients and to create the vibrant flavors that turned family dinners into celebrated events. Guests can expect an experiential dining experience and to be treated like family.” Chef Richard Sandoval
