Chicago chocolatiere Katherine Anne Confections will teach you how to make that favorite of chocolate treats, the truffle. She’s hosting a class on Thursday, December 8, that will teach you what ingredients to use, which flavors, and how to create ganache. The night starts with wine and appetizers and then the group splits into teams of three to five chocolate lovers. You’ll “create, design, melt, chill, scoop and roll truffles to completion” and at the end of the night will have four truffles to take with you, and the knowledge to make more at home.
The class is $50 and runs from 6:30 to 9pm on December 8. If you can’t make it tomorrow there will be another one on December 21.
