Leave No Scone Unturned

Do you make a killer scone? Show it off for fame, glory and KitchenAid at the 2nd Annual Amateur/Student Scone Competition hosted by the French Pastry School. They’re accepting registrations now through March 29, and you don’t want to be late. 10% of the score is based on punctuality and professionalism.

The competition itself is on March 31 and it promises to be a fun filled day. You’ll arrive with your already-prepared scones (that fit into a 4″x4″ square) at 11am. Then you’ll all take a tour of the school, which is like a baker’s Barbie Dream House. This is followed by a demonstration from one of their instructors, a reception and tasting (the best part, I’d say), and the event is finished with the announcement of the winners.
