Last November Miller Lite encouraged north side Chicagoans to be responsible revelers by offering free rides in several of the most popular neighborhoods. Every Saturday night a trolley made the circuit from the Loop up to Wrigleyville and back again, stopping in River North, Old Town, and Lincoln Park on the way. With the St. Patrick’s Day holiday next week and the festivities leading up to it, they’re back!
The parade and the dyeing of the river are this Saturday, so the free trolley will run from 10am to 8pm. On St. Patrick’s Day itself Irish of every ethnicity can get from point A to B to C to Z from 10am to 10pm.
A map of routes is available here, and you can also text “CHIRISH” to 30364 and they’ll send a link with stops listed to your phone!
Visit this page for St. Patrick’s Day (week?) events.
