Molly Gene One Whoaman Band at Streetside Tonight

If you don’t quite want the weekend to end then head to Logan Square’s Streetside Bar (2401 W Armitage, 773-252.9700). They’ve got live music tonight, but the real act to see is Molly Gene One Whoaman Band starting at 10pm. I’m not just saying that because I like the name (although I do, of course). She came highly recommended by Jody Robbins, a personal friend and a big proponent of bands with spunk. He says that Molly Gene is “putting the dirty back in blues and doing it with raw, guttural power you don’t see every day.” But you don’t have to just take his word on it; check out the video below and see for yourself!
