As of September 19, 2011, The Wrigley Building was under new ownrship for the first time since its construction in 1920. Luckily, the consortium of buyers, consisting of Chicago based BDT Capital Partners; Zeller Realty Group; and Groupon co-founders Eric Lefkofsky and Brad Keywell, are determined to preserve the Wrigley Building's historic legacy.

Despite the fact that I was a band geek (or maybe because of?) I had a great time at my homecoming dances in high school.

I've always considered the The Adler Planetarium one of my favorite Chicago landmarks.  Not only is it architecturally significant to Chicago, it's also a wonderful place to learn, and boasts some the best views of the Chicago skyline - plus, I'm kind of a space geek.

This weekend was the fourth annual Chicago Gourmet, and the event once again exhibited why Chicago is the culinary king.
