Chicago’s cocktail scene has become increasingly more
complex, with internationally known mixologists creating drinks whose
ingredient lists read more like something you’d find at Green City Market
instead of the liquor store. A new bar
aims to bridge that final gap between cocktails and cuisine.
Bridge Bar puts the same emphasis on both their drinks and
their food. Bar Chefs will create signature items like a Chicago Lobster Dog or
Beer Mussels and the cocktail kitchen gives guests a behind-the-scenes look at
how the dishes and beverages are paired. Like many mixologist-driven spots the
list will feature brown spirits like bourbon and whiskey.
Bridge Bar opens March 21 and is located at 315 N LaSalle,
right by the LaSalle Street Bridge and above Fulton’s On The River.
