Bike And Brew Benefit For Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

You are invited to the first ever at on Tuesday, July 22 from 5:30-8:30pm.  Tickets are $40 per person + $5.00 per beer (tickets for ages 25 and under are $20 per person).  The evening will include a light dinner and entertainment.  100% of the proceeds will benefit .  The longterm goal is to turn type 1 diabetes into type none.    

This benefit is being presented by the family of Bella who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes two years ago. Since then,  has become a source of support and inspiration for living a full and healthy life with type 1 diabetes.  As the leader of the type 1 diabetees community,  JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat, and prevent T1D.  In this role JDRF has funded more than $1.6 billion in diabetes research since its founding in 1970, and has meaningfully advanced the T1D scientific frontier and the management of this disease. 

Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is the more severe form of diabetes and strikes both children and adults at any age. It comes on suddenly, causes dependence on injected or pumped insulin for life, and carries the constant threat of devastating complications. If left untreated it can lead to damaged eyes, kidneys, nerves, and the heart, and even coma and death.
