For the past 30 years Farm Aid has been celebrating farmers, eaters and music coming together for change. Farm Aid works all year to build a system of agriculture that values family farmers, good food, soil and water, and strong communities. But the concert is definitely the highlight of the year, particularly for music lovers. And this year Chicagoans scored big because this national concert will take place here at Northerly Island's FirstMerit Bank Pavilion on September 19.
The line-up this year includes of course Willie Nelson & Family, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, and Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds plus Imagine Dragons, Jack Johnson, Kacey Muscgraves, Old Crow Medicine Show, Mavis Staples, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, Holly Williams, Insects vs. Robots and Blackwood Quartet.
