Chicago Celebrates 30 Years Of Farm Aid

Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - 9:31pm

For the past 30 years Farm Aid has been celebrating farmers, eaters and music coming together for change.  Farm Aid works all year to build a system of agriculture that values family farmers, good food, soil and water, and strong communities.  But the concert is definitely the highlight of the year, particularly for music lovers.  And this year Chicagoans scored big because this national concert will take place here at Northerly Island's FirstMerit Bank Pavilion on September 19.

The line-up this year includes of course Willie Nelson & Family, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, and Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds plus Imagine Dragons, Jack Johnson, Kacey Muscgraves, Old Crow Medicine Show, Mavis Staples, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, Holly Williams, Insects vs. Robots and Blackwood Quartet.

You can be among the first to score tickets to Farm Aid during the presale which begins on July 29 at 12noon.  Click here to get access to the best tickets before they go on sale to the general public.  Prices range from $49.50 to $189.50, plus a $50 presale pass fee (added at checkout) allowing you to buy up to 4 tickets.

Tickets for Farm Aid 30 will go on sale to the public on Monday, August 3, at 10am. Ticket range in price from $49.50 to $189.50 and will be available for purchase at LiveNation.com, the venue box office and by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
