Chicago’s Halloween Parties Guide

Figuring out your Halloween costume is only half the battle. The other half is figuring out where to show it off. If you haven’t figured out your Halloween party situation, don’t worry, you still have time and options.

Here’s a quick rundown of parties to consider this weekend and next Thursday.  

 

Saturday, October 26th

Moe’s Cantina River North, Totally Awesome 1980s Party – 10:00pm

  • Mullets, spandex, lace and neon. You’re welcome.
  • No cover, call to reserve a table.

 

Moe’s Cantina Wrigley, Roaring Twenties Party – 10:00pm

  • Flappers, horror flicks and a $500 prize for the best costume.
  • $5 4 Rebels Dragonbombs, $5 4 Rebels cocktails and $5 domestic bottles.
  • No cover, call to reserve a table.

 

Municipal Bar + Dining Co., "Sons of Municipal" Halloween Bash – 8:00pm-12:00am

  • A Sons of Anarchy themed Halloween party sponsored by Harley-Davidson with a premium open bar. Additional food and drink specials include half-priced appetizers, $5 fireball shots, and $6 Halloween Shots.
  • $40 per person, reserve your tickets online.

 

Rockit Bar & Grill, Hillbilly Zombie Apocalypse –  5pm-1:30am

  • $8 Apple Cinnamon Jameson Shots, $7 Brooklyn Post Road Pumpkin Ale, $6 Captain Morgan and $4 Bud Tall Boys.
  • No known cover, call to reserve a table.

 

The Grid, Psych Ward Halloween Party – From 8:00pm

  • The Psych Ward themed Halloween party features a costume contest. First place will receive dinner for 2 with $250 and second place will receive dinner for 2 at The Grid. 
  • $35 for well drinks and domestic beers.

 

Weather Mark Tavern – 8:30pm

  • $5 Bloody Marys, $4 Fireball Shots, $3 Bud Lights and Miller Lites
  • No cover, call for reservations.

 

Sunday, October 27th

  • evilOlive, Witches, Bitches & Freaks! – From 10:00pm
  • $1,000 costume contest – possibly the largest prize in the city.
  • No cover.

 

Thursday, October 31st

American Junkie, Halloween Costume Party with Joachim Garraud – From 8:30pm

  • Show off your best costume with a contest from 10:00-11:00pm on the Terrace (all entries must be in by 10:30pm). The top winner takes home $250 AJ gift card and $100 in cash. Second place wins a $100 AJ gift card.
  • Terrace party tickets: $20 online, $30 at the door. No charge for the main floor. 

 

The Pony, Halloween Bash – From 8:00pm

  • $4 Stoli cocktails, $5 Fireball shots, and $15 Miller and Coors buckets. The Pony will feature a live band and DJ all night as well as a Best Costume Contest.
  • No Cover

 

Untitled, An Unbridled Halloween – From 7:30pm

  • A scandalous Halloween in very corner of Untitled’s dimly lit rooms. Plus, the Dead Man's Carnival, an outrageous vaudevillian, circus & burlesque troupe from Milwaukee.
  • $25.00, reserve your ticket online.
