Wine & Wildlife: The Science Behind Zoo Sex

If you’ve ever wanted to know how the Lincoln Park Zoo controls the population of animals, you’re in luck. On Thursday, Feb. 27, scientists will deconstruct the family planning process and reveal how zoos and aquariums plan animal populations.

Held at the Regenstein Center for African Apes, grab a glass of vino as a team of experts with the Population Management Center share their secrets to controlling the birds and the bees. In addition to the presentation, there will be a cash bar, light refreshments and an opportunity to chat with the experts.
