Young Foodies Can Help the Lincoln Park Zoo

Chicago’s youngest foodies are helping Gemini Bistro raise $4,000 for the primates at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Throughout the summer, Gemini Bistro - a short walk from the zoo - will donate the full cost of every kid’s meal ($6) to playtime enrichment items for the primates, like mirrors and balls that help them to learn and grow.

“We’re thrilled to support Lincoln Park Zoo this summer,” said Owner Ryan O’Donnell. “This is an opportunity for us to help out our neighbors at the zoo while also giving kids the chance to be a part of the process.”

Little diners can choose dishes from Executive Chef Jon Keeley’s X-Small menu like the Mac & Cheese with orecchiette pasta, the Kids Burger on a house-made bun, and the Grilled Chicken with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes.

At brunch, kids can help the apes by chowing down on Vanilla French Toast with cinnamon maple syrup and House-Made Granola with seasonal fruit and yogurt.

The promotion is available every night of the week and for brunch until the team reaches their goal of $4,000.
