Dozin' With The Dinos at the Field Museum of Natural History

Wednesday, January 2, 2019 - 6:31pm

The Field Museum is one of the most popular museums in the world. That also means it can be pretty crowded. What if you could go in after hours and then stay there all night long?

You can! Dozin' With The Dinos invites kids ages 6 to 12 to pack a bag and spend the night with lions, mummies, and mastadons. You'll explore by flashlight, play games, and dissect owl pellets. You can commemorate your night at the museum with exclusive merchandise that's only available for purchase during the event.

The overnight begins at 5:30pm on Friday and ends on Saturday morning at 8:30am. Family tickets are $65 per per person. Or, get a sleeping spot in the Hall of Dinosaurs with the Premium Package, or even go behind the scenes with their Tour Package. If you're a member of The Field Museum you'll get a discount.

These fun evenings sell out quickly and tickets are available now.

2019 Overnight Dates

  • January 18 & 25

If you plan on going, be sure to eat before you check in for the event. While a snack is provided at 8pm, it's not a full dinner. No outside food or drink is allowed unless you've got dietary issues.

"If John Steinbeck earned a Nobel Prize in Literature shortly after publishing Travels with Charley, then Theresa should start planning a trip to Oslo, Norway, because Two Lane Gems is every bit the book Travels with Charley was. And then some." ~Amazon review
