2018 Free Days at Museum of Science & Industry

Mark your calendars! The is offering free admission to Illinois residents on several dates in 2018.

January, February, and September are the months with the most free admission days. Admission includes their classic exhibits, from the Great Train Story to the Baby Chick Hatchery. These days are a great time to take advantage of the many special exhibits, including the WOW! Tour, the inside glimpse of the U-505 Submarine, and one of the awe-inspiring Omnimax movies.

Special exhibits Coal Mine, Omnimax, U-505 Submarine: Optional On-board Tour, WOW! Tour, Future Energy Chicago, and Brick by Brick are $12 for adults and $9 for children 3 - 11.

2018 Museum of Science and Industry Illinois Resident Free Days

The Museum of Science and Industry is free for Illinois residents with valid ID on the following dates in 2018:

January 8–11, 15–18, 22–25, 29–31

February 1, 5–8, 12–15, 20–22, 26–27

March 14

June 4–7, 11–12

September 4–6, 10–13, 17–20, 24–27

November 12

These free days for Illinois residents at the Museum of Science and Industry are a great deal because admission is $18 for adults and $9 for children ages 3 to 11. Chicago residents save $3 for adults and $1 for children when purchased onsite. Everyone saves $2 if they purchase their tickets online.
