Lights in the City: a multimedia presentation by Chicago photographer Satoki Nagata

Monday, May 13, 2013 - 10:42am

Great news! Remember the photographer Satoki Nagata whose awesome online portfolio of photos of Chicago I featured in March? Well he’s having a multimedia presentation of one of his portfolios, the one I confessed to being my favorite, Lights in the City.

Lights in the City: a multimedia presentation by Chicago photographer Satoki Nagata will be held at Lower Level Harold Washington Library Center in the *Multi-Purpose Room on Saturday, July 20th 2013. He will give a multimedia presentation of his exhibit which is actually two of his projects, Lights in the City and Cabrini-Green Frances Cabrini Rowhouses, a documentary portfolio project which he spent three years capturing the lives of the residents. You will have the chance to see the projects before hand as the pieces will be exhibited on the wall at the library from June 28-August 23, 2013.

I love Satori’s work and I’m looking forward to not only seeing the exhibit but also attending the presentation, I hope to see you there as well.

You can join the presentation by going to the Facebook invite page  and be sure to read more about Satori Nagata’s work and becoming a fan, just as I am.

*UPDATE: The show has been rescheduled for August 5th, 2013 and moved to a better venue, the Pritzker Auditorium in the Harold Washington Library.
