No Laughing Matter

April 10 will be a sad day for comedy in Chicago. That’s when the iconic Lakeshore Theater will have its last laugh. After renovating it from a single-screen movie theater, owner Chris Ritter became known for encouraging local comedians as well as bringing in national stars. Unfortunately the debt from the renovation proved to be too much and after Jim Jefferies run the doors will shut for good.
