One Chicago-area Farm Never Forgets with Incredible Corn Maze

Today marks the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm is offering tribute to the first responders who risked and lost their lives that day with an impressive corn maze, pictured above. The maze includes the words Never Forget, a representation of the World Trace Center, and logos for first responders.

This isn’t the only way Siegel’s honors those who run to danger instead of away from it. The farm’s 25th annual Pumpkin Fest officially opens next weekend for the season with free admission for military and their spouses and children. On September 17th and 18th all Military personnel, Veterans, & their spouse & children enter the Siegel’s farm for Pumpkin Fest free of charge. The following weekend, September 24th and 25th, is 1st Responders Appreciation weekend. First Responders along with their Spouse & Children will receive admission free of charge.

“The Siegels feels it is everyones responsibility to respect and thank those who are fighting or have fought for our freedom and have given for our safety.  They believe to (sic) many people have forgotten about the devastating attack on 9/11.  So in doing their part, they have made these weekends a tradition of giving back!”

Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm is located at 17250 S Weber Road in Lockport, IL. The Pumpkin Fest opens September 17, 2016, and is open daily from 10am to 6pm through October 31.
