Premieres and after-parties aren’t just for the industry elite. Not in Chicago.
Walk the red carpet and get past the after-party velvet ropes at The Second Annual Gen Art Chicago Film Festival. Each night of the festival the audience is treated to the premiere of a short film and a full-length feature. After the show everyone, including the filmmakers and available cast, is invited to enjoy the hosted bar at one of Chicago’s hottest spots.
Gen Art members get a discount, of course, but even if you’re not a member the all-inclusive tickets are incredibly inexpensive. You can see all five premieres and go to all five parties for only $75, $60 for members. Only want to go to one or two? The opening night is $25 ($15 for Gen Art Members) and $20 each for the rest of the fest ($15).
June 23 screening is at The Music Box, 7:30pm. The rest are at AMC Pipers Alley, 1608 N Wells, and the movies begin at 7pm.
