InterContinental Chicago, the historic downtown Chicago hotel, hosts its Annual Tree Lighting kicking off the holiday season on the Magnificent Mile. One of the first tree lightings of the season in the city, the event puts guests in the holiday spirit with music, activities, and festive and complimentary hot chocolate and cookies as the gorgeous tree is lit.
The afternoon is highlighted by a performance by Chicago’s Urban Prep Academy all-boys gospel choir. The nonprofit organization operates a network of all-boys public schools including the country’s first charter high school for boys.
Chicago Canine Rescue will also be on-site with furry friends who will be available for adoption.
