InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile honors Chicago and its landmark property by hosting “Uncork the Archives,” a tour combining history, wine, and live music. Taking place on the last Wednesday of every month, the notable event offers sips and bites from ENO Wine Bar, and a tour of the iconic hotel delving into the exciting history and rich architecture of the property.

The tour begins at the hotel’s corner wine bar with a sommelier-hosted tasting featuring wine, cheese and chocolate. Hillary Marzec, an expert guide and founder of Inside Chicago Walking Tours, leads guests on a tour of InterContinental Chicago’s historic tower, highlighting the hidden secrets, famous guests, and historical and architectural features. History buffs are invited to end the night swinging and sipping back at ENO, with live jazz and swing music entertainment provided by one of the hotel’s local famed trios, as well as a complimentary glass of wine.

The iconic hotel serves as the perfect backdrop for a night of history and entertainment. The kick-off event takes place on Wednesday, January 31, and tickets are $48 and can be purchased here. The ticket includes a wine, cheese and chocolate tasting at ENO, live music, and a tour of the property. The recurring event takes place on the last Wednesday of every month.
