Chicago has the distinction of being tied with D.C. for the worst traffic congestion in the country. Advil is known for fighting congestion. Before you say “not that kind of congestion, silly,” hear me out. The cold medicine is on a mission to ease all types of congestion. They started in New York City by offering a public school a grant for computers and library books. Now they’re giving Chicago special snow removal equipment for our new protected bike lanes. It’s all part of their Advil Congestion Relief Project.
This Wednesday former Chicago Bears player Richard Dent will join Advil to present the equipment. Bikes will also be given away to Chicagoans ready to try the new lanes. The ceremony will begin at 10:30am with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Jackson and Damen across from Malcolm X College.
